Currently there is no reliable community based screening test for early stage ovarian cancer. Many believe the pap smear will detect all gynaecological abnormalities but this is not the case
What are the symptoms of ovarian cancer?
These are some of the warning signs. If you experience any of these for a period of time, please consult your doctor.
- Feeling Bloated
- Loss of Appetite
- Abdominal discomfort and /or backache
- Gas or indigestion not associated with eating
- Feeling of fullness, even after a light meal
- Pain during intercourse
- Breathing problems
- Menstrual Change
